Kim Eun-kyung, CEO of RED, was born in 1971 in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, Korea and graduated from Sung-Shin Women University graduated School of Interior Design in 1996 and completed her graduate program at the Academy of Art University interior design in San Francisco, USA. Then, she returned to Korea and worked as a lecturer at a university for eight years and learned practical work as a freelancer. In addition, she devoted all her passion to fostering human resources by studying human-centered creative design and spatial design that increases the value of life. Dreaming of a new challenge in 2006, she moved to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, where she established “RED,” and spent 14 years in the field trying to pass on advanced designs to Vietnamese young designers, who had no clear concept of interior design. So far ‘RED’ has successfully carried out numerous projects, including Taekwang, Orion, Lotte, Hyosung, Bitexco and Kindo groups, as well as Shinhan Bank, Ferrari and Maserati Motor ShowroomAs of 2021, ‘Red’ continues to build its reputation as the company it wants to work with, ranking among the top 10 in the foreign-invested interior industry.
